Report on the Knight Investiture
and PRO-DEO Conferring Ceremony
26 - 27 June 2004, Budapest / Hungary.
The Hungarian Chapter of the ‘Federation of Autonomous
Priories of the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta’ organised a memorable and spectacular
Knight Ceremony on the 27th June 2004, in Budapest / Hungary at the
Municipality City Hall.
On
this particular occasion numerous high-ranking leaders of large international
and national organisations from Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary,
Israel, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain, and the USA were
conferred Knight of Malta or were advancing higher grade by His Beatitude Dom Lorenzo O.S.B. - Regent of the ‘Federation of Autonomous
Priories of the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta’, Patriarch and Primate
of the Metropolitan
of the American Orthodox Catholic Church, Jurisdiction of New York.
At the
beginning of the ceremony the present officials, Knights and Dames commemorated
the deceased Knights.

Hungarian Police Academy was awarded Cross of Merit by the Regent of the
Order.
Sir Levente Gyenes,
KCM (Hungary) - International Coordinator of IBSSA for
Europe, Mayor of the city Gyömro received the Nomination Certificate and
Diploma as Commander and Chief Executive of the Femeraid Hungarian Unit as of
February 18th 2004.
Sir Béla Danielisz (Hungary) - President of Security Committee of the General
Assembly of Budapest received the Nomination Certificate and Diploma as
PRO-DEO Representative of the Faculty of High Arts and Sciences for the Mental
and Physical Education of PRO-DEO University in Hungary as of February 18th
2004.
Sir Péter Sulányi (Hungary) - Owner of an Interpreter - Translating Office,
Vice President of Hungarian Protocol Club received a Certificate as
Mention of Honour for his constant professional support to the Federation.
AVIS CANTRIX
Children's Choir - Korösi Csoma Sándor Primary School - ÉRD / Hungary received
a Certificate as Recognition for their Performance.
Sir György Kiss (Hungary), colonel and Sir László Csereklei (Hungary), lieutenant general were elected and appointed by His Beatitude Dom
Lorenzo O.S.B. for the duty of serving in The Honour Guard Corps of the
Regent and were bounded with all the Obligations pertaining to said duty and
were bestowed upon all the corresponding honours, rights and dignity.
One
day previous to the Knight Investiture
- on the 26th June 2004 - PRO-DEO
University (seated in New York) organised a Doctoral Ceremony. On this particular
occasion numerous high-ranking leaders of large international and national
organisations and also some IBSSA members were conferred Doctoral Degrees. The
Ceremony took place at the Hungarian Police
Academy and started at 11.00 AM with the presence of the following
